Practical questions
The ones we are actually asked, rather than the ones that look good on a page.
Do I need experience?
No. Foundations courses assume none. If you have experience, say so when you book and we will pitch the first session accordingly.
What if I miss a session?
Studio sessions are recorded from two angles and the tutor will give you fifteen minutes at the start of the next one. Miss more than two and we would rather move you to the following term.
Can I do this remotely?
Hand Lettering and Surface Pattern, yes. Ceramics, no — you need the kiln and we need to see your hands.
Is there a certificate?
Yes, on completion. It is a craft school, so the work you leave with matters considerably more.
